Smoke Spider – Electrical Show

After many singles released in 2021, such as Love To See You Miserable, You’re Wearing Me Out, Evil Eye, The Damage Is Done, and several more published in 2022, like Linger In My Memory, Desolation, and Nervous, Göteborg-based duo Smoke Spider return with a new composition that will unquestionably appeal to all the alternative rock fans.

Electrical Show is their first single this year that serves as an appropriate continuation of Smoke Spider’s previous works. However, this composition also carries many innovations in songwriting and composing, while the band also introduced a sound that meets all the trends in contemporary music production. The duo undoubtedly explores the fundamentals of an alternative rock sound, but they also borrowed some elements from other complementary music genres. Therefore, don’t be surprised if you stumble upon the finest properties of progressive, psychedelic, space, art, electro, synth, ambient, indie, or other rock forms of rock. Smoke Spider handle these styles pretty well, so these additions come as more than necessary enhancements, accentuations, decorations, and other details that uplift Electrical Show on an entirely new level.

Smoke Spider thought about everything while assembling Electrical Show, and you’ll immediately notice that as soon as you press play. The song commences with hypnotic rhythmic sequences built upon detailed, well-accentuated beats, and continuous splashes over the cymbals, but it gradually becomes even more complex with additional accentuations, breaks, drum fills, and other percussive elements. Of course, the guitars burst with catchy themes, leads, melodies, harmonies, chord progressions, riffs, and other mind-blowing virtuosities. Both band members showcase their capabilities through jaw-dropping musicianship and ideas that ultimately explore the vast rock universe and beyond. You’ll also notice synth and electro melodies and ambiances that perfectly match this sonic equation. Every idea these folks invested in their latest single makes a lot of sense, so you should immediately check out Electric Show if you’re looking for flawlessly executed rock music. The single is available on all streaming platforms.
