Telgate – Gammon

After three critically acclaimed singles, Cherryfight, Love Zone, and Freedom, Cardiff-based group Telgate returns with another exceptional composition that will unquestionably appeal to all rock ‘n’ roll fans. Gammon embraces all the fundamental elements of the genre where that irresistible, energetic rock ‘n’ roll ambiance flirts with the abrasiveness of the late sixties garage rock music. Telgate paid attention to even the tiniest details while writing, composing, recording, and producing their latest single, so Gammon will immediately teleport you back to the good old days when rock ‘n’ roll reigned the music charts around the globe. Gammon explores the current state of the British nation, and it represents an anti-authoritarian anthem for all like-minded people.

Gammon bursts with power from scratch to finish. There’s no way you’ll miss those heavy rhythmic sequences built upon cleverly accentuated beats, breaks, continuous splashes over the cymbals and drum fills, extremely fuzzy riffs, catchy solos, equally complex warm-sounding basslines, and very aggressive shouts. Telgate undoubtedly know how to deliver that recognizable rock ‘n’ roll atmosphere where all the instruments shine bright with tremendous power. You’ll also notice how the band continuously levitates from glam over the classic rock to garage and even punk with such ease without losing balance and consistency. Telgate combined melody and harmony with aggression and dynamics, so Gammon resonates with these qualities from beginning to end. There are no doubts in my mind this song will end up on your rock playlist. You should check Gammon as soon as possible. The single is available on all streaming platforms.
