The Tiger Moths – Dreaming Of Yesterday

London-based quintet, The Tiger Moths, return with another exceptional composition that will unquestionably appeal to all Americana and indie folk rock music fans. Previously, the band released critically acclaimed extended plays like The Tiger Moths and How To Fall, so their latest piece of sonic artistry is an appropriate continuation of their previous works. However, Dreaming Of Yesterday brings many innovations in songwriting, composing, and production. Besides resonating with brilliant ideas and profoundly detailed musicianship, The Tiger Moths burst with quality that meets all the trends in contemporary music production. Perhaps the band explores the fundamentals of Americana sound, but you’ll notice how Dreaming Of Yesterday shines bright with some of the finest properties borrowed from music genres like alternative, blues, classic rock, power pop, and lounge. These additional styles uplift this number to an entirely new level, and there’s no doubt you’ll solely enjoy it from scratch to finish.

1 / 6

The Tiger Moths thoughtfully implemented each layer until they reached perfection. Dreaming Of Yesterday has a perfect structure based upon detailed orchestrations, equally present during every segment. It’s one of those numbers that demand your full attention because all the band members provided a top-notch performance during the recording that will indulge your listening apparatus to the max. You’ll be amazed how both guitars work harmoniously by providing complex chord progressions and riffs while the harmonica contributes with catchy leads. The sound engineer/producer thought about low-ends, so every bassline is vividly hearable in the mix. Piano melodies, harmonies, ambiances, and accentuations lurk throughout the entire song, and you’ll notice how this instrument enhances the vocal and guitar performance. Nothing would sound so catchy without an excellent drumming performance based upon detailed, well-accentuated beats decorated with many breaks and fills. Of course, the lead vocalist perfectly suits the ambiance of the entire song, while the back vocals enhance ear-appealing choruses on an entirely new level. Dreaming Of Yesterday bursts with so many good moments that you’ll gladly revisit this number every time when you need some mesmerizing Americana and indie rock music. The single is available on all streaming platforms.
