Bingo Boys – Donuts

After two exceptional full-length albums, such as Lamborghini and More, and a self-titled extended play release, Indianapolis-based trio Bingo Boys returns with another demonstration of raw power. Donuts has everything you ever needed from loud, abrasive, dirty punk rock, but don’t be surprised if you discover more. These folks play punk rock the way bands from the seventies and the eighties used to do it, but with even more aggression and energy involved. However, there are some other sonic ingredients borrowed from garage rock, hard rock, rock ‘n’ roll, and grunge included. Bingo Boys know what they’re doing, and they’re playing this highly addictive style of music pretty damn well.

There’s a thick layer of pleasant noise lurking around that makes this song even more aggressive. Bingo Boys use generous amounts of distortion to their advantage, and you will adore their ability to transform each sonic maneuver into an ear-appealing harmony. Donuts strikes hard as a colossal slab of noise built upon cleverly assembled chord progressions, raw basslines, and profoundly dynamic rhythmic sequences. The band decorated all these orchestrations with a performance by the equally good lead vocalist, who unquestionably knows how to deliver even more power and aggression over the top. These folks are not joking around with their music. You will notice that as soon as you press play. Donuts is a fine piece of sonic artistry suitable to anyone into punk rock, garage rock, and rock ‘n’ roll. The single is available on all streaming platforms.
