The World Is Quiet Here has revealed the official visualizer for new single “Writhing Gate.” The clip, created by Wizardhead, whose work has been commissioned by the likes of Meshuggah, is an absolutely eye-popping, mind-melting, interdimensional nightmare.
“Writhing Gate” appears on the band’s new album, Zon, out January 27th on Silent Pendulum Records (Dr. Acula, The Number Twelve Looks Like You).
More than one hour in length, Zon is a dazzling new piece of work from this up-and-coming progressive metal phenom. “On Zon, we wanted to see how far we could stretch ourselves creatively and still have it be a cohesive experience,” states bassist Tyler Dworak.
Metal Injection has stated: “The World Is Quiet Here mixes operatic vocals, mind-bending rhythms, and spacey progressive metal… It’s like Devin Townsend got into a fight with Between The Buried And Me.”
