Today, Velocity Records welcomes Brisbane, Australia’s All Hours to their label roster. Creating an enticing blend of pop-punk and post-hardcore, the band shine on their new single “Light”. Singer Dani O’Grady’s powerful vocals deliver an impressive range, swaying from pop-forward to deep screams. The track is catapulted by intricate guitar work that wouldn’t feel out of place for a full-on metal band, but works seamlessly in pushing the young act as an impressive, creative force. The video for the song puts the band’s performance prowess on full display, surrounded by lit up balloons for added flair.
Formed in 2017, All Hours are a must-listen for anyone looking for a healthy dose of mid-2000s, Warped Tour-style nostalgia. In conjunction with their signing, Velocity Records has re-released the band’s three EPs – Sightseeing (2017), The Brightside (2018), and Perspectives (2021). “Light” finds itself as a bonus track leading off Perspectives and you can find all three EPs available for digital purchase and streaming now. Having already seen support from outlets like Alternative Press and Triple J, it won’t be long before All Hours are deemed a breakthrough band in the music scene.
All Hours is Dani O’Grady (vocals), Stewart Whitely (bass), Alistair Franklin (guitar), and Richard Bayliss (guitar).
