Following their breakout debut Better Days, Western Mass trio Hedge has announced a new six-song EP titled Freeze Frame, High Five. Arriving March 27 via Best Brother Records, the EP is preceded by the melodic new single “Hey Dude.”
Vocalist Christopher Chaisson describes the track as a tribute to the bands that shaped his youth, including Dinosaur Jr. and The Lemonheads. With most songs clocking in under two minutes, Hedge delivers an explosive mix of melodies and punk energy reminiscent of Husker Du. The band will be touring throughout New England starting February 28, bringing their high-velocity sound to stages across the region.
