Formed in 1977, Cult Figures are continuing their remarkable second act with the new single “Lunatic Friend.” The track is taken from their upcoming fourth full-length album, Reports Of People, which is set for release on April 24 through their new label, Precious Recordings Of London.
Despite the loss of founding frontman Gary Jones in 2022, original guitarist Jon Hodgson leads the band forward with a striking new lyric video created by Steve May. Recorded at the legendary Woodbine Street Studio, the album is currently available for pre-order on Bandcamp. Cult Figures remain a vital link to the UK’s original DIY post-punk scene.
