Premiere: Discomfort Creature Share Video For Threshold

Denver, Colorado punk rock trio “Discomfort Creature” premieres the video for Threshold today. The video announces their upcoming self-titled LP, due to be released by Monster Zero, Bearded Punk, and Snappy Little Numbers. You can pre-order the vinyl HERE

Playing music has always been necessary to maintain sanity—and that was never more true than in 2020. Three buds in Denver responded the best way they knew how: picking up their instruments to escape from the madness and misery.

The result came out nearly immediately. Discomfort Creature’s debut EP is a fast, powerful, and emotive outburst of pent-up energy in the form of seven heartfelt punk songs. Reflecting the need for action during a year frozen in time, Discomfort Creature churned out the project at a record pace, mixing urgent riffs with lyrics pulled straight from the heart. Guitarist Chris Fogal (producer of Pears, Bombpops) produced the album with bassist Ian O’Dougherty at Black in Bluhm, the studio Fogal owns with drummer Dan Fox. 

This fall, Discomfort Creature will release an LP collecting the first batch of songs with three new songs. The record will be a split release with Monster Zero, Bearded Punk, and Snappy Little Numbers. In anticipation, Discomfort Creature are releasing new videos and playing shows in Italy, Switzerland, and Denver.
