Zurich, Switzerland-based goth rock artist Miss Torsion recently released a new single. Love Parasite is her third single in a row from a series of singles launched in 2020 and the last single released at the very end of 2021. This time, Miss Torsion delves deep into a couple of musical genres that work flawlessly together, and that particular harmonious ambiance gives entirely another dimension to the song. Miss Torsion unquestionably prefers mid-eighties to mid-nineties goth sound but also thinks outside of the box by incorporating all the vital elements of post-punk, new wave, indie rock, art rock, alternative rock, and even some ska music along the way.
These experimentations with several complementary genres resulted in an ear-appealing number that differs from the vast universe of contemporaries who explore nearly a similar sound, but not with a lot of style and a sense of balance like Miss Torsion. You’ll notice how this composition shines bright with such a unique gothy ambiance but also resonates with nearly cheerful ska chord progressions. These combinations with merging entirely different music genres work like a charm and definitely to the advantage of Miss Torsion’s powerful voice. You should unquestionably check out Love Parasite if you’re in search of fresh and unique goth-rock tunes. The single is available for listening on all streaming services.
