Teleforme Release A Debut Single

Southend, UK post-punk quartet Teleforme released a debut single called Drowning. The group showcases strong admiration towards eighties post-punk sound but also incorporates elements of eighties and nineties indie rock, new wave, goth rock, and alternative rock. These additional elements are so delicate. They lurk around and punch from beneath while the recognizable echoic post-punk sound dominates from scratch to finish. Teleforme showcase melancholic, melodic, soothing, cathartic sound, which is rarely present in contemporary post-punk. It’s one of those songs you’ll immediately fall in love with if you’re profoundly into the beforementioned music genres.

You will unquestionably find some similarities with groups such as Echo And The Bunnymen, The Chameleons, The Smiths, and Bauhaus. However, Teleforme keep their music fresh and unique as much as possible, mainly because the band blends old-school and modern approaches to post-punk, indie rock, goth rock, and new wave. The amount of ear-appealing chord progressions, harmonies, melodies, powerful basslines, and rhythmic segments will blow you away. The vocals are providing another layer of melodies over the top, and there’s no slightest doubt in my mind you will like their sound. Drowning is available for listening on all streaming services.
