Mars Sucks are returning with another tremendous single called Break On Me. Once again, the group delivers more energetic sonic clusters through such an interesting collection of genres packed within a singular composition. This time, Mars Sucks blends grunge, alternative rock, indie rock, hard rock, melodic punk rock into a colossal slab of harmonious noise. However, this slab of noise is unquestionably packed with some catchy melodies that are leaving the listener speechless on so many occasions. Perhaps Break On Me slightly differs from their debut single named Perfect Day, but it also showcases the different approaches and influences that are shaping the sound of Mars Sucks.
The group pays a lot of attention to every single detail included within the track and pays homage to all the genres that influenced them in one way or another. Mars Sucks leaves no room for mistakes, so you can easily compare their tunes with the music of the greats of alternative rock/grunge scene. Just add some punk rock melodies, harmonies, accentuations, dynamics, and you got yourself powerful grunge machinery that creates havoc with every single riff and beat. Break On Me is a proper continuation of their preceding single, and after this one, you will crave more. Break On Me is available on streaming services such as Spotify, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, and YouTube.
