Skallywag is one of those singles worth mentioning, even though this particular composition saw the light of the day last year. This number bursts with outstanding quality and represents a perfect example of how the grunge group should sound on the contemporary scene. The grunge revival is currently a big thing on the underground music scene, and it has been in development for several years until loads of groups popped out from nowhere and created havoc. Hell Beings are one of those relatively new groups who unquestionably demand your utmost attention and Skallywag is more than a good introduction piece in their complex sound.
Still, Hell Beings reveal even more as you dig deeper into their music, and grunge is not the only element you will stumble upon while listening to the Skallywag. Besides sheer dominance of grunge sound, you may notice interruptions of some other complementary genres, such as noise rock, hard rock, stoner rock, and post-punk. Hell Beings sound unique, but it also seems like renowned groups like Soundgarden, Screaming Trees, Tool, Kyuss, The Cult, Gang Of Four, and many others inspired these creative musicians to write and compose their songs. Skallywag embraces so many styles, but still, it sounds like Hell Beings. You cannot pinpoint any particular beforementioned band and say Hell Beings sound just like them. Quite the contrary, Hell Beings are a unique group that will knock your socks off with outstanding ideas and excellent musicianship. Skallywag is available on streaming services such as Spotify, Bandcamp, and Soundcloud.
