Austin punk band CorMae has signed with DC-Jam Records, bringing its playful sound, relatable frustrations and inclusive live shows to the label’s roster. The band’s seven-track album, Everything is SO GREAT!, is out now.

Formed in 2024, the self-described “riot grrrl egg punk” band has quickly built momentum in Austin and beyond. Following a 16-date summer support tour with of Montreal, CorMae will hit the road for its first DIY tour of the western United States. Playfully dubbed the “Sunny Side Tour,” the run takes place October 21 through November 12, 2026.

In its hometown, CorMae has shared stages with Pretty Girls Make Graves, Murder City Devils, of Montreal, Vial, Subhumans and War on Women. That growing live presence reflects a central part of the band’s approach: making the audience part of the show.

CorMae’s songs tackle life, love and first-world problems with playful punk energy and lyrics that invite listeners to commiserate, connect and shout along. That spirit carries into shows built around audience participation, where fun, wild and inclusive go hand in hand.

CorMae’s live shows are fun, wild and inclusive, with a simple goal: to send people home feeling better than when they arrived. Through audience participation and a shared sense of release, the band makes each show a chance to connect, let loose and remember we’re all in this together.

Everything is SO GREAT! brings that outlook into a seven-song collection, with writing credits shared by Amber Appleton, Aaron Gilligan, Tessa Cayton, Meryl Mabin and Maria Romero. The DC-Jam signing marks the next step for a young band building its audience through records, touring and a connection with the people in front of the stage.
