Afterbliss are promoting their latest single named Remnants. The group used the quarantine caused by the pandemic to write compositions, so their sessions resulted in this ear-appealing composition that vividly resembles something that would greats like Muse, The Killers, Editors, Interpol, or Manic Street Preachers eventually record during their careers. The group blends the best affinities of indie rock, indie pop, melodic rock, alternative rock, and synth-pop to illustrate brighter imagery of their profoundly polyphonic sound. Afterbliss shines bright with this number, which will unquestionably satisfy even the pickiest admirers of the beforementioned genres.
Afterbliss started when the musicians from Romania, Ireland, and Scotland joined forces to create a powerful indie group inspired not only by the abovementioned acts, but also by Inhaler, Nothing But Thieves, Alt Tvvins, Ben Howard, and Kynsy. Their poetic approach to lyrics, engaging melodies, ear-appealing harmonies, and the stable rhythm section are what make this international quintet so catchy and powerful. Remnants was recorded in the legendary Windmill Lane Recording Studios, Dublin (Rolling Stones, U2). It’s mixed by Alan Kelly (Kings of Leon, Herbie Hancock) and mastered by Fergal Davis (Muse, Sinead O’Connor). The composition is available on all streaming services.
