An overflow of light, intense and sick, is the protagonist of the video of Flood Of Light, the last song extracted from Mirages, the second album by Kaouenn released last February: certainly the most imaginative and evocative track of the entire LP. A gentle and suspended song, elegantly psychedelic, “an endorphinic twilight of nascent light that breaks the circadian rhythm”.
“The video tells how the memory of a past love weighs on our shoulders. It’s always difficult trying to forget, but it’s also a growth path during which the images of the loved one come to mind. Getting rid of them, it’s a bit like killing the loved one. The video, with its dark but delicate and – at times – Lynchian atmosphere, wants to represent this journey in love” says Fabio Cotichelli, director of the clip.
