Melbourne post-hardcore trio Broncos return with “Lover,” their third single and most visceral track yet. Following 2024’s “Erode” and 2025’s “Lights Out,” the new release pushes their sound into sharper, more complex territory, balancing raw screams, soaring melodies, and subtle synth layers.

At just under three minutes, “Lover” delivers stadium-sized hooks with DIY grit, recorded in the band’s practice space and mastered by longtime collaborator Dan Coutant (Drug Church, Coliseum). Lyrically, it explores the push-pull of modern relationships, the ambiguity of connection, and the vulnerability of heartbreak.

Broncos continue to carve their place in post-hardcore, proving that even from the underground, ambition and emotion can hit with seismic force.
