NY-based grungegaze band Glimmer has released their first new music of 2025 with single “Sorrow Again,” out today. Recorded in Brooklyn with Jeff Berner and mastered by Will Yip (Turnstile, Superheaven, Title Fight), it follows a handful of well-received tracks released since the band’s formation in 2023, and will appear on their debut LP, due out this fall.
Just in time for summer, “Sorrow Again” is a grunge-pop anthem that highlights Glimmer’s ability to craft earworm-worthy hooks — opening with a catchy guitar line and building to a memorable chorus — while still featuring plenty of fuzz.
Having shared stages with acts like Cloakroom and Pissed Jeans, Glimmer will celebrate the release of their new single tonight (6/25) at NYC’s Night Club 101 before heading to Europe in July.
