TOŃ combines elements of stoner, psychedelia and post-punk with folk, forest and extreme metal motifs. Their music is on the edge of reality and dream, in which heaviness and guttural screams are mixed with harmony, expressive female vocals and subtlety.
Last year, TOŃ‘s debut album “Korzenie” was released. The album was widely and very well received by the media and the public. The album has already been played over 150,000 times on YouTube, and on streaming portals it has several dozen thousand plays. The CD version of the album sold out within two months of its release.
‘Wszyscy Toniemy’ is one of two songs by Toń that will be included on Split “Księgi Wieczyste” on Side A – Grunty Leśne. Side B – Grunty Rolne will be filled with two songs from the band Weedcraft. The release date is 14.02.2025.
‘Wszyscy Toniemy’ is an almost 10-minute journey through reflections on the fragility and unpredictability of life, the associated fear and the process of coming to terms with fate even in the most difficult moments.
The piece has the character of a diptych. The first part refers to the shock of reality that occurs when we hear the really bad news. It talks about the emotions, states and thoughts experienced in such moments: fear, anger, despair, surrender. The second part focuses on trying to come to terms with the current state of affairs and reminding us that coming to terms with fate cannot depend on what happens to us. And ultimately: that each of us has something to live for.
The “Devils, deer, weeds, roots” tour together with the Weedcraft band includes 16 concerts throughout Poland. The organizers of the tour are Sarniak and Deerhunter Booking. List of concerts and tickets at this link: https://linktr.ee/ton_weedcraft_2025
