Prolific Skopje post-punk four-piece Xajka have officially released their highly anticipated new album, III, via Geenger Records. Available now on all major streaming platforms, the record marks a powerful step forward for one of the most exciting forces in the modern Macedonian underground scene.
Formed in 2018 by high school friends Filip Lafazanovski (bass, backing vocals), Bojan Tanevski (lead vocals, synths), Teodor Atanasovski (guitar), and Aleksandar Atanasovski (drums), the group built steady momentum through raw live shows before dropping their 2020 debut EP, Непрекинато Движење. Follow-up releases Антиталент (2021) and Мека Машина (2023) cemented their reputation across the Balkans, leading to standout appearances at PIN Music Conference and Changeover Festival. On III, Xajka deliver their signature blend of driving, fast-paced post-punk rhythms, razor-sharp guitars, and experimental electronic textures. Stream the album today.
