Alternative outfit Fat Lars have officially released their single “Sunset Ride,” a track originally written several years ago but shelved until a recent lineup change. With a new guitarist on board, the band revisited the initial riffs, reworking several arrangements to fully capture a classic West Coast aesthetic.
Inspired by Los Angeles, Sunset Boulevard, and the vivid image of a drive down the coast as the sun disappears into the ocean, the song’s narrative was penned by the band’s bass player. That same sun-drenched atmosphere carries over into the single’s cover artwork. By breathing new life into older ideas, Fat Lars deliver a polished, summer-ready track with steady grooves and atmospheric guitar work. Stream “Sunset Ride” across all major digital streaming platforms today.
