Gloucester heavy rock quartet Bluntnose have released their breakout single, “Park Bench Throne,” accompanied by their first story-driven music video. Formed in 2022 and recognized for their shark-themed aesthetic (“WELCOME TO THE FRENZY!”), the band fuses grunge, alt-metal, and punk influences echoing Nirvana, Deftones, and Slipknot.
“Park Bench Throne” opens with haunting, spacious melodies before shifting into a wall of heavy rock distortion. Lyrically, Bluntnose focuses on translating personal struggles into narrative art, tackling themes of loneliness, grief, and anxiety. Following their 2024 debut album FRENZY and 2026 single “Baggy Clothes,” this track highlights the group’s ongoing evolution in the UK underground rock scene.
