For over 25 years, 100 Demons have stood as one of hardcore’s most uncompromising forces— a band built on raw conviction and a sound that refuses to be boxed in. With Embrace the Black Light, their long-awaited third album out today Closed Casket Activities, Connecticut’s own deliver twelve tracks that push the boundaries even further.
As evidenced by album opener “The Nightmare“, Embrace the Black Light opens without losing any of the band’s signature ferocity. Elsewhere, the album stretches without losing its footing, adding texture and dimension to an album that earns every moment of its runtime.
Written by Pete Morcey, Rich Rosa, Rick Brayall and Jeremy Braddock, alongside Sean Martin rejoining the group, Embrace the Black Light was built brick by brick over the course of 2025, allowing each song to breathe and find its shape. Recorded within the walls of Silver Bullet Studios in Burlington, Connecticut, produced and recorded by Greg Thomas and engineered alongside Chris Teti, the end result is the most fully realized record of 100 Demons‘ discography.
