Alan Robert is a New York–based writer and artist and the creator of the bestselling Beauty of Horror coloring book series. He has illustrated officially licensed books for Beetlejuice, Universal Monsters, and The Conjuring Universe.
He is also the author and illustrator of several critically acclaimed original graphic novels, including Crawl to Me, Killogy, and Wire Hangers (IDW Publishing), as well as Pantera: Vulgar Display of Power and Type O Negative: Bloody Kisses (Z2 Comics).Robert is the bassist and a founding member of the hard rock/metal band Life of Agony, inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame in 2025.
