Źrenice (eng. eye pupils) – gateways between the inner and outer worlds through which light permeates. They watch over how much brightness and shadow is needed to maintain balance.
The album “Śnienie” marks the group’s debut. Its primary unifying motif is the symbolism of the forest, which remains prominent without imposing a rigid concept. The material is bookended by the tracks ‘Brama lasu…’ and ‘…lasu skraj’, where the sound of footsteps is intended to lead the listener into a state of isolation from the outside world. This sonic journey offers the audience complete freedom to interpret their surroundings – the forest serves merely as a starting point for Śnienie, from which one must eventually awaken.
The lyrical layer of the album “Śnienie”, despite references to a fairy-tale aesthetic, focuses primarily on the human experience and interpersonal relationships.
