Dreamwave Release New Garage Rock Banger Ahead Of New LP

Bristol-based psychedelic rock outfit Dreamwave return with their new single “Over You”, marking the final chapter ahead of the Drifter EP vinyl release on 20th March 2026 — landing on a standard red 12″ LP and special edition press alongside their earlier release Moon Dogs via Stolen Body Records. Dreamwave are rapidly gaining momentum across the UK and Europe.

With Over You, the band lean into their raw, high-energy roots — driving rhythms, sharp-edged guitars, and a restless momentum that reflects their reputation for explosive live shows. It sits firmly in the louder, more visceral side of their catalogue, built for packed rooms and late-night singalongs, building on fan favourites such as Moon Buggy while pushing their sound forward.

Recorded at Nine Volt Leap, Bath, and mastered by LOUD (Dry Cleaning, Massive Attack, Radiohead), Over You captures Dreamwave’s blend of garage rock urgency and acid-punk edge, channelling their hazy psychedelic atmosphere into something immediate, direct, and punchy.

While rooted in Bristol’s thriving psych and garage rock scene — working closely with Gravy TrainVelvet Echoes, and Down Stokes — Dreamwave are rapidly breaking beyond the South West. Following standout appearances at Left of the Dial Festival Rotterdam (NL) and Block Party (FR), the band are set to take their live energy back on the road with a UK tour in 2026, including key dates in Manchester, a Newcastle debut, Bristol, and London, as well as a return to the Deaf Institute to debut at Manchester Psych Fest 2026 on the Sour Grapes Records stage, with further festival shows to be announced.

Having shared stages with the likes of Wine LipsFrankie and the Witch Fingers, and The Bug Club, Dreamwave sit firmly at the forefront of a new wave of Bristol bands pushing psychedelic rock into louder, weirder, and more playful territory.

Dreamwave are a diverse psychedelic rock group from Bristol, South West England, known for their explosive live presence, playful personality, and genre-blurring songwriting. Drawing from garage rock, acid punk, and dream pop, the band move effortlessly between raw, high-energy performances and soft, floating moments of introspection.
