Since 2010, Beyond the Event Horizon has been exploring the realms beyond the event horizon, balancing between rock and metal. Their sound exists in a state of unstable equilibrium—somewhere between ambient, post-rock, and prog-rock—where time dilates and structures collapse under the force of gravity. The band has released two albums and an EP.
The new single, ‘Echo of L.O.O.T.’, tells the story of a voice wandering between dimensions, drifting through time and space in search of answers. It remains unclear whether the returning echo is actual contact with another consciousness or merely its own transmission, reflected and distorted by the gravitational field of a black hole.
The track balances on the edge between the hope for dialogue and the awareness of absolute silence. The acronym L.O.O.T. stands for Lingering Omnidimensional Oracle Transmission.
The track ‘Echo of L.O.O.T.’ is the first preview of the band’s upcoming third studio album. The single also opens a new chapter in the group’s history—the line-up, which has been strictly instrumental until now, has been joined by vocalist Asia Malicka.
