Atlanta rapper GRIP (Shady Records alum) has unveiled his art-punk full-band alter ego: Scattrbrain. Built for chaos, catharsis, and longevity, the project is inspired by the raw intensity of IDLES and the emotional depth of Nirvana. The debut single, “Melancholy Melodies,” is an anti-social anthem for momentary defeat. Featuring members of Grouplove, the music is a cinematic blend of punk, post-rock, and hip-hop perspective, showcasing a major reinvention for the established emcee.
