American singer Lucia Cifarelli, best known as a primary creative force in industrial rock band KMFDM, has had her anthemic solo single “Girls Like Me” receive an epic remix. The track, originally the opening song from her 2021 solo album, I Am Eye, has been transformed by progressive house and melodic techno DJ alleykat. The high-energy remix is out today (November 14th), showcasing Cifarelli’s commanding voice and songwriting in a completely new electronic light, years after she disbanded her initial punk-influenced band, Drill.
