Sam Russo continues his fiercely honest punk-inspired songwriting with his fourth full-length album, Hold You Hard, out now via Red Scare Industries. The UK artist expands his typically singular sound by recording with a full band for the first time. The album explores themes of distance, desire, and dislocation, drawing on imagery from East Anglia to American coastlines. Russo, who has built a loyal following sharing stages with artists like Tim Barry and Lucero, remains a uniquely vital and unmissable presence in modern folk-punk.
