New York’s Will Romeo (Neckscars) and Dayton, Ohio’s The 1984 Draft have teamed up to cover ’90s alt-rock classics. Romeo tackles Sponge’s “Plowed” while The 1984 Draft takes on Jawbreaker’s “Jet Black.” The tracks will be released via a limited-edition lathe-cut 7″ and digitally on December 5th. This split showcases Romeo’s punk background and The 1984 Draft’s ’90s-tinted punk and indie sensibilities, connecting with fans of The Hold Steady and Sugar. Pre-order here.
