Australian Indie Rockers Floodlights Explore Change With New Track “Tricky”

Australian rock band Floodlights release “Tricky,” a bold new single ahead of their UK shows with Amyl and the Sniffers. Building on the momentum of their acclaimed album Underneath, “Tricky” ventures into a synth-driven, euphoric sound while retaining the band’s emotional core. Recorded in their Melbourne studio, the self-produced track bridges rock and dance textures, balancing melancholy with hope. The DIY video—shot and edited by the band—captures moments from their UK tour, reflecting the song’s themes of change and renewal. “Tricky” marks a vibrant new chapter for Floodlights’ evolving, heartfelt alternative rock sound.
