Derry-based “radical alt-pop” duo Beauty Sleep return with their dazzling new single “You (You’re All I Wanted),” out October 15 via all digital platforms. The track delivers euphoric, layered dream-pop with indie-sleaze guitars and shared vocals from Cheylene Murphy and Ryan McGroarty. Lyrically, it explores self-reflection and growth, inspired by the idea of “failing upwards.” Accompanied by a theatrical vaudeville-style video filmed in Donegal, the single perfectly captures Beauty Sleep’s maximalist approach and playful aesthetic. “You (You’re All I Wanted)” is another shimmering gem from one of Northern Ireland’s most inventive alt-pop duos.
