Buffalo-based shoegaze quartet Elemantra unveil “Ishimura,” the lead single from their upcoming Air Like a Buzzsaw EP on Friend Club Records. Inspired by the survival horror game Dead Space, the track draws eerie parallels between cosmic terror and modern disillusionment. Thick reverb, hazy textures, and emotional weight collide as the band explores faith, fear, and denial. With the full EP arriving October 9, “Ishimura” captures Elemantra’s unique fusion of shoegaze atmosphere and 90s emo sincerity — a hauntingly beautiful descent into darkness.
