Legendary reggae-punk trio Sublime have topped the Billboard Rock & Alternative Airplay and Mediabase Alternative Radio charts with “Ensenada,” their first original single in three decades. The track also set a record for the longest gap between No. 1 hits in Alternative Radio history—28 years and 10 months. Fronted by Jakob Nowell, son of late singer Bradley Nowell, the new Sublime lineup retains the band’s classic sound while pushing forward. Following a summer of sold-out shows, Vans Warped Tour appearances, and their inaugural Fear, Loathing & Sublime festival, the group looks ahead to more touring and potential new material in 2026.
