Dark dream-pop duo Magic Wands release a new digital double single, pairing brand-new track “Across the Water” with a remix of “Armour” by labelmates Lost Signal. Both are included on their upcoming album Cascades, out October 24 via Metropolis Records, which also features previously released singles “Hide” and “Moonshadow.”
The band will promote the album at Los Angeles’ Substance Festival on November 7. Known for blending shoegaze, post-punk, and goth textures, Dexy and Chris Valentine craft shimmering, ethereal songs that dissolve the line between reality and imagination. Cascades promises another lush, otherworldly journey from the Los Angeles-based duo.
