French/Turkish trio Hermetic Delight return with “9 Lives Have Gone By”, the opening track from their upcoming album Vagabond Melodies, out November 7, 2025 via October Tone. Known for weaving between shoegaze, noise, and art pop, the band has evolved into a sharper, more direct sound. The single, dedicated to guitarist Atef Aouadhi’s late cat Siouxsie, showcases Zeynep Kaya’s mesmerizing vocals, Delphine Padilla’s motorik drumming, and shifting guitar textures. The music video, created by artist Henri Gander, adds visual depth. Vagabond Melodies marks Hermetic Delight’s most focused statement yet, a persistence in crafting a language entirely their own.
