Lincoln, Nebraska power trio Ivory Daze have released “Corset,” the latest single from their forthcoming EP Chlorine, arriving October 17 via Quiet Panic. The grunge/shoegaze outfit, Isahen Harms (guitar, vocals), Maeve Nelson (drums), and Van Foster (bass), blend soaring distortion, melodic grit, and urgent rhythms influenced by Smashing Pumpkins, Prince, and The Melvins. Formed through friendship and refined on the road, Ivory Daze embrace Harms’ mantra of writing “pop songs with distortion.” With Chlorine, the band expand their sound while sharpening the balance between chaos and melody, making them one of Quiet Panic’s most exciting new signings.
