Oslo’s all-female rock ’n’ roll band Cocktail Slippers roar back with their new single, “Back Where You Belong,” out September 19 on Wicked Cool Records. Recorded at Propeller Studios with Stevie Van Zandt’s guidance, the anthem is a love letter to life on the road.
Already road-tested at major festivals and the Underground Garage Cruise, the track captures the thrill of touring and playing live. “We belong on stage; we love new adventures and playing live shows,” the band shares.
As longtime fixtures of Van Zandt’s label, Cocktail Slippers continue to redefine garage rock with grit and melody. The single previews their upcoming sixth studio album, due in 2025, and coincides with a new U.S. tour this fall alongside labelmates Soraia.
Expect windows down, volume up, and pure rock ’n’ roll spirit.
