Los Angeles trio Ramonda Hammer announce their upcoming EP Wake Up, Play Nice, out October 24. To mark the release, they’ve dropped the fiery new single “Hush Money,” a track that confronts betrayal, greed, and the silence left in its wake.
Fronted by Devin Davis, alongside Justin Geter and Andy Hengl, the band delivers raw, heart-forward alt-rock that balances chaos with catharsis. Produced by Maxcy James and mixed by Grammy winner Adrian Bushby, the EP captures resilience in many forms: toxic breakups (“Eyelash”), existential struggle (“The Panic”), and sharp-edged defiance (“Hush Money”).
After regrouping in 2022, Ramonda Hammer’s latest work is their boldest yet, proving resilience can be messy, but also empowering.
