Marseille-based electro dark pop act RedLight return with their brand-new single “Les Derives”, a moody yet energetic track built on pulsing Moog basslines, sharp guitar riffs, and a deep, resonant vocal delivery. The song perfectly captures the band’s unique fusion of styles, drawing on influences that range from Pearl Jam and The Cure to The Prodigy and Beastie Boys, while remaining rooted in melody-driven, guitar-based songwriting.
Formed in 2007, RedLight has consistently pushed boundaries with their eclectic sound. Since the release of their debut album Crash System Control, the group has cultivated a distinctive identity within the French underground scene.
Their single arrives from “Homeworks,” their latest album. Recorded and mixed entirely in their home studio by guitarist Dapé, the record embraces a proud DIY ethos, staying true to the spirit that has shaped RedLight’s journey from the beginning.
