hicago’s Belmont has announced new EP “Last To Love” set for release on 4th September 2025 via Pure Noise Record and today, release first single “Live A Lie”.

“This EP is a step into a place where we solidify who we are as raw and as purely as possible.” says the band.  “We wanted to push the boundaries of the current state of music to hear something that we wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else while revisiting our thrash-inspired technical pop-punk sound sonically. “Live A Lie” is a song that revisits our pop-punk roots and is meant to be an anthemic, catchy, and classic feel of the sound along with implementing our technical and shreddy flare”.

Formed by Chicago high school friends in 2014, Belmont quickly evolved from local pop-punk band to internationally lauded rock band with the release of their 2016 EP, Between You & Me, and 2018’s debut, self-titled full-length. After signing with Pure Noise Records, the then three-piece went on to release 2021’s heralded sophomore record, Aftermath, produced by Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Neck Deep, Real Friends).

The trio made up of Taz Johnson (vocals), Brian Lada (drums, guitar, bass, programming) and Jason Inguagiato (guitar) released their third album, Liminal, in 2024 which further expanded their eclectic sound incorporating a fusion of pop-punk, metal, electronic and more on what proved to be one of their best releases yet.
