Formed in Plymouth in January 2023, BREATHER quickly bonded over their love for creating raw and catchy tunes. Debut single, ‘Wrong’, from their self-titled lo-fi EP emerged from their very first jam session, setting the tone for their sound and undeniable chemistry. With pick-ups on the release from the likes of DKFM Radio and BBC Introducing, the band returned to the studio to record sophomore EP, ‘Catalyst‘.
In the autumn of 2024 the band celebrated the release of that EP with their longest run of shows to-date, building up a strong and passionate fanbase and increasing visibility online. Now in 2025, BREATHER have a new single on the way and have been writing their most exciting music yet. With their eyes set on the future, and having recently joined the Reaction Management roster, they show no signs of slowing down.
“Southern Discomfort is a song about feeling like a stranger in your own craft. An unnerving single about being outsiders and not finding a place in a world full of scenes.” – BREATHER
