After years of silence and reflection, Serbian hardcore collective Hang has returned with “Nothingness,” the first single from their long awaiting new album of the same name. Released via Geenger Records, the track marks the culmination of a creative journey that began over a decade ago.
The genesis of the album dates back to 2011–2012, when the band first explored its skeletal form in rehearsal sessions, raw, instrumental ideas captured on old bootleg recordings. “We felt those riffs and grooves needed justice,” the band stated. “It would be a shame not to make them into songs.”
Reconstruction began in 2019. Now, six years later, the completed work stands as a towering monument to persistence and sonic density. “Nothingness” is available to stream now, offering a glimpse into the band’s deep, immersive soundscape.
The full album will be released on vinyl on June 25, with pre-orders available through Geenger Records.”Nothingness” is available HERE
