Judo CHOP! from Melbourne, Australia throw melodic punk, thrash metal, martial arts, and Jimmy Barnes into the pit with no rules, no ref, and no care for the victory! This high-energy six-piece is known for shredding three-part guitar harmonies, relentless basslines, belting Aussie hooks, and a driving melodic intensity that’ll have you frothing to hit the gym.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Strung Out, Protest the Hero, and Propagandhi, Judo CHOP! have stormed stages across the country with legends including A Wilhelm Scream (USA), Ignite (USA), and Aussie heavyweights 28 Days, Knife Hands, and Fake News. Their unyielding sonic assault has earned them airplay on Triple J’s renowned Short.Fast.Loud and Triple M’s Hard N Heavy, alongside the playlists of their devoted international fans.
Signed to Canadian powerhouse label People of Punk Rock Records (Face to Face, Pulley, Frenzal Rhomb, Bodyjar, A Wilhelm Scream), Judo CHOP!’s 2021 debut album Shelf Life received widespread praise and has racked up over 40,000 streams on Spotify. After four years since their last EP, the band is back with their upcoming EP ‘Cosmic’, released on April 11, 2025, and we can assure you—they’re not holding back with this one.
