Skeetch Released New Single “Loose Thoughts”

Skeetch is a skate punk band from Leipzig, Germany, formed in 2021 by four friends brought together by their shared love of fast, melodic punk rock. Growing up during the golden era of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater soundtracks, the band draws heavy inspiration from genre-defining acts like Pennywise, Millencolin, Bad Religion, and many more. Fueled by that same DIY energy, Skeetch quickly hit the ground running.

By the end of their first year, they had already released two EPs and embarked on their first European tour. Since then, they’ve continued to make a name for themselves across Europe, playing shows in countries like France, Croatia, and beyond. After releasing their third EP, Skeetch or Die, With Max Schlegel on vocals, Tom Kühnel on guitar and vocals, Markus Ackert on bass and vocals, and Richard M. on drums, Skeetch is carrying the torch for skate punk and proving that the sound that shaped their youth is alive and well.

The band is now gearing up to drop their first full-length album, coming later this year on Punkerton Records, and they couldn’t be more excited to share it with the world.

“Loose Thoughts” is the first single from our upcoming debut album [Will be announced at a later date] , and it’s all about the random thoughts that run through your mind. It’s a tribute to all the daydreamers out there and a reminder of how important it is to lose yourself in your thoughts, whether to spark creativity or escape negativity. It’s also about questioning everything whether it is your past, your choices, and the “what ifs” of life. What if things had turned out differently? What if everything changed?
