The post-punk band Vale Cinza debuts with their self-titled EP, “Vale Cinza”, released through the label @geleiadiscos on Friday, December 13, 2024. Choosing this date, outside the traditional release calendar, reflects the group’s dark and authentic essence.
Their melodies evoke both the serenity of green valleys and the melancholy of gray days, creating an immersive atmosphere that transports listeners to the landscapes they describe.
With the single “Cidade Neblina” already surpassing 15,000 plays on Spotify, this EP is just a preview of what’s to come in 2025. The band is already working on new compositions and promises to continue exploring the contrasts of this sonic experience.
Vale Cinza emerges from the misty city of Nova Friburgo to unveil the gray side of melancholy that few dare to see.
Inspired by the green and gray valleys of the mountainous region, the group captures the bucolic, cold, and unique essence of the city in their music. With an authentic and poetic approach, their melodies evoke both serenity and sadness, offering a singular perspective on their sound.
