“Root of Your Downfall” is the first single from Royal Arch’s highly anticipated debut album “Love & Terror”, set for release in early 2025. This powerful post-punk song explores the complicated aspects of life and love—a force that can lift you up but also pull you down. It takes listeners through a journey of inner struggles, spiritual questioning, and the feeling of losing something you love.

The song implies that the toughest moments can often reveal deeper truths or realizations. This gives the song a spiritual tone, suggesting a search for meaning or guidance.

The lyrics show how love, at its strongest, can feel overwhelming, even damaging—making you wonder if it could be the cause of your own “downfall.” It’s a powerful look at the struggle to balance love’s beauty with its risks of heartbreak and self-destruction.

In their musical journey so far, they have managed to open concerts or share the same festival lineup in Greece with artists such as Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Florence and the Machine, Fontaines D.C., Nothing But Thieves, Editors, Jake Bugg, and many more.
