Catastrophes is the debut album by french band CREVE COEUR and It is being release digitally via Atypeek Music today, November 8, 2024.
Bringing together members of the Parisian noise/post-rock scene, they define the contours of an aggressive, gravely-ambient music, carried by Corentin Sarkadi‘s French lyrics.
In 2023, after perfecting their songs in northern France and Belgium, CREVE COEUR locked themselves away in Studio 89 to record the album. Assisted by sound engineer Youri Benaïs, the band recorded nine abrasive firecrackers in a live configuration, on the verge of post-punk and noise-rock.
