Gouge Away Reveal “Newtau” Music Video

Six months after the release of their third full-length LP Deep Sage, Gouge Away have shared a music video for the album’s standout track, “Newtau.”  The video was a true DIY project by the band, shot digitally using a Nikon D5200 and then transferred to Kodak 16mm Tri-X film.  It was filmed by Thomas Cantwell, Dylan Downey and Christina Michelle.  Michelle handled editing, and she was joined by Cantwell for the direct animation.

This video arrives just before Gouge Away heads out for some extensive worldwide touring, starting off November 2 with Cold Gawd and Initiate in tow along the west coast / Texas, followed by a string of shows in Brazil supporting Joyce Manor.  In December, Gouge Away will head back out for support shows with Better Lovers, then they’ll kick off 2025 on the road with Chat Pile.  All dates are listed below and tickets are on sale now here.
